Description

Sources Sought Announcement (this is not a solication). VA Palo Alto Health Care System (VAPAHCS)has a need for a Patient Warming System to be used by the Surgical Service. The system should be designed to provide clinicians with a safe, effieient and precise method of regulating body temperature with a goal of improving patient outcomes. VAPAHCS anticipates its need to required at least two (2) control units that hold two (2) to (three) liters of distilled or sterile water and the usage of 150 to 200 thermal pads a year. Current indications are that this may be a sole-source procurement; the intended vendor has indicated that it is the only source for this type of equipment. However, if there are any firms which believe they may be capable of offering a suitable product which will meet the requirements, then inquires are welcome.
