Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The government intends to issue a sole-source firm-fixed price contract to CIMCOR, Inc. located at 8252 Virginia Avenue, Merrillville, IN 46410-5569. The authority cited for this procurement include 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsib le Source. This acquisition is for the CimTrak suite, an integrated suite of security software products to provide real time management, monitoring, automatic notification, and recovery of key files, configuration files, and web services, through secure s essions on existing and emergent Army operating systems, in the event of unauthorized modifications. These capabilities support the Armys resilient operational posture by assuring restorable functions on critical network elements such as routers, switche s, and application servers (web, email, C2 functions). The technical configuration support services are required to tailor the commercial software to particular requirements of the Army to include: troubleshooting analysis and technical configuration cons ultation. This security software will support the Army in enhancing information systems security against cyber attack on critical United States Army networks and servers. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The NAICS code for this procu rement is 541512.
