- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; this is a Sole Source announcement, no written solicitation will be prepared, issued or made available for distribution. This procurement is being processed under the authority of the test program for commercial items, ?Section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996?. Solicitation number N68836-04-T-0263 applies. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate only one source, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. On behalf of NTTC Corry Station, Pensacola, the Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Jacksonville, Florida intends to award a firm fixed price contract to DRS Technologies, 700 Quince Orchard Road, Gaithersburg, MD 20878 for HF Receivers to include filter options. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334220 and the business size standard is 750. LINE ITEM: 0001 Full Rack Digital HF RECEIVER, 36 each, Part number: WJ-8711A. LINE ITEM: 0002 12.5 kHz Filter Option, 36 each, Part Number: 871Y/IFC125. The Naval Technical Training Center, Pensacola requires HF Receivers to include the filter options with the following specifications: Receiver - 5kHz to 30 MHZ in 1-Hz steps; High Dynamic range =30dBm 3rd-order intercept, typical; Digital filtering to provide 66IFBW?s up to 16 kHz with exceptional shape factors; Standard AM, SAM, FM, CW, USB, LSB & ISB detection modes; Fast Flexible scanning with 100 memory channels; Noise blanking & tunable notch filtering standard; Internal switchable preamplifier & attenuator; Internally selectable RS-232 or CSMA remote control; and Built-in self test. Quotes should be provided FOB Destination: Pensacola, FL 32526, to be delivered 120 ADC.
