Description: The contractor shall provide a registered technologist (A.R.D.M.S.) who is qualified to operate Government-owned equipment, specifically Advanced Technology Lab's HDI 3000. The Technologist shall perform: a) Ultrasound prodedures to include abdominal, pelvic, including transvaginal sonography, small parts (thyroid and scrotal); b) Vascular procedures to include real-time, color Doppler and duplex Doppler sonography for the evaluation of deep venous system, carotid sonography, lower extremity arterial sonography and intra-abdominal arterial sonography, including renal; and c) Ultrasound guided prostate needle biopsy as requested at the VA Medical Center, Leeds, MA
