Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Qu otes are requested; however, a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number W911S8-04-T-0074 is applicable and is issued as a request for quotations. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Fed eral Acquisition Circular 2001-15. The requirement is small business set-aside with a NAICS Code of 335314, and size standard of 750 employees. The description of the commercial items is as follows: Clin 0001: Tesla, #TIMV13000 GPU-24, Specifications: Out put: 28.5 Volt DC 50 AMP continuous power, 24 Volt DC 46 AMP hour rechargeable power, 3000 Peak starting amps. Power Output Rate: One (1) hour constant power to 20.0 end volts DC; 96 AMP hours (2,449-watt hours) with 110-220 AC power; 46 AMP hours (1,024 w att hours) without 110-220 AC power. Rechargeable Rate: 75 minutes (from full discharge) with 110-220 AC power. Dimensions: 35.25 inches Length) x 14.25 inches (Width) x 15.75 inches Height). Weight: 120lbs. Temperature: Operating: 40 degrees C to +60 degr ees C, Storage; 65 degrees C to +60 degrees C, Capacity: +40 degrees C 110% ? 05%, +25 degrees C 100% ? 05%, +00 degrees C 080% ? 05%, -20 degrees C 065% ? 10%, -40 degrees C 050% ? 10%. Quantity: 6 each; CLIN 0002: Tesla NATO Connector, #TI 2005-078, wit h Plug, 1500 amps, sealed, weatherproof. Quantity 6 each. State if FOB is Destination or Origin. Any award resulting from this request for quotations will be made using SF1449 to the successful, responsive and responsible quoter. Quotes will be evaluated on a lowest cost, technically acceptable basis and wh o has acceptable past performance. If quotes are provided for an equal item, specifications must be submitted. FAR provision 52.211-6, Name Brand or Equal, applies to this acquisition. FAR Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, a pplies to this acquisition. An addendum to this provision is applicable, in which the term offeror (whenever it appears) shall be replaced with the term quoter. Quoters are required to submit completed copies of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Re presentations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with their quotes. FAR clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and does not include any addenda.
