Description

The U.S. Military Academy, West Point, NY, intends to award a sole source procurement for a Mitsubhshi Model VS-67SH10U 67 inch Diagonal 5:4 Ratio Digitial Light Processing (DLP) Projection System with SXGA 1280X1024 DLP Chip and Lamp Changer to incl ude a Multiscreen Processor and Installation to Video Visions, Inc., 2344 Perot Street, Philadelphia, PA. The U.S. Military Academy requires that the high resolution display hardware accept computer inputs of UXGA 1600 x 1200. Each cube must have at leas t 5:4 aspect ration and delivery at least 600 lumens with a minimum contrast ratio of 650:1. The hardware must incorporate information feeds from ten or more computer systems and display the information in user-defined, varying configurations. The project ion size must be 3'x 4'6 inches to 6'5 inches x 13'8 inches. The floor footprint of the system cannot exceed 33 inches to allow its use in the classroom.
