Description

The Government intends to award a sole source contract under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The requirement is for fifteen (15) Storage and Transport Frames(STF). STF is designed to permit quick loading and discharge of cargo from a container and has muliple use capability. STFs effectively ease deployment and re-deployment operations. Five STF's can fit into a standard 20' ISO container, eliminating the need for blocking and bracing material. STFs allow cargo to be quickly downl oaded from a container and placed on a truck and moved directly to the operational/conflict area. The requirement also includes sixty (60) Storage Transport Frame Shelves. This is the shelving needed inside the transport unit to create compartment configurations for loaded materials. Thirty (30) Storage Transport Frame Mid-Wall Dividers (MWD) are also part of this requirement. The MWD is a part of the entire transport storage container. All items are to be shipped to the 30th Engineer Battalion, Building H-5057 Sapper Street, Fort Bragg, NC 28307-5000. The intended awardee is: Mobile Shelter Systems (MSS), 2061 Pimlico Place, Orange Park, FL 32073. Responsible sources may submit a response to this notice. The Government will consider written responses if received within five (5) calendar days of the published notice date.
