Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, intends to negotiate a sole source basis with Specialty Devices, Inc for a purchase of a SC-200 Survey System integrated in one suitcase enclosure, measuring 18 wide, 13 deep and 6 inches hig h. The unit must be entirely waterproof, capable of functioning after being submerged. Built to military specifications for the Marines and Navy Seals. The unit will operate on 12 volt, be capable of running Hypack max, and have a waterproof color screen w ith day/night lighting, weighing under 25lbs. The contractor must provide an optional external waterproof monitor. This notice of intent is NOT A Request for Competitive Proposals. This notice is NOT a request for quotes. However, all information received within three (3) calendar days after date of publication of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition base d upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for information received. All work shall be completed within fourty five days (45) after award. All contractors are required to be registered in the DODs Central Contract Register before award as required by DFARS 204.7300.
