Description

The Bureau of Reclamation, Boulder City Regional Office, Boulder City, Nevada, intends to award on a sole source basis a purchase order to Zenitech Enviromental, LLC, 3173 E. Terra Alta Blvd., Tucson, AZ 85716-4515. This purchase order is for professional services in the areas of hazardous materials, hazardous waste, environmental regulations and compliance, environmental safety and health, training and related areas for the remediation work for the Regional Office sites in Boulder City, Nevada. Zenitech has worked closely with the Resources Management Office, Engineering Services Office, Property and Facilities Management for approximately one and a half years. During that time, they have become specifically knowledgeable about the environmental aspects of these offices, have become connected with numerous managers who can avail themselves of these services, and they have developed a unique working relationship with the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection on behalf of Reclamation. In addition, Zenitech has an office in Boulder City which allows them to rapidly assist the Regional Office. The company also has a State of Nevada Certified Environmental Manager (CEM), which is required for assessment and clean-up work within the State of Nevada. Zenitech key personnel have worked in all of the states in the Lower Colorado Region and are familiar with EPA, DOI, and state-level environmental agencies. Key personnel include technical/regulatory experts, as well as emergency response, environmental sampling, and remediation personnel. It is considered to be in the best interest of the Government to award a purchase order to Zenitech. This procurement will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
