Description
The U.S. General Services Administration?s Federal Technology Service intends to modify a current task order with the IDC Corporation to continue research into current trends in High Performance Computing (HPC) technology, and updates on HPC architectures via a multi-user study. The multi-user study will expand upon the original task by providing an in-depth view of the direction of the HPC community by focusing on current user requirements and future needs. This task order modification is issued under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, through reference number 4THO97044117-01. Only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302.
