Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is DOLFR4246N125. (iii) This RFQ and the provisions and clauses incorporated are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 20 01-21. (iv) This is an unrestricted procurement and the applicable NAICS code is 333312 (v) This RFQ contains one line item. Requirements for Item 0001 include the following: one each, Braun Delta Ironer 10 foot, 3 roll ironer with 32 inch rolls. Price I ncludes Shipping. (vi) This is a Sole Brand requirement as it is a replacement Ironer that will have to fit between and communicate with two pieces of existing Braun equipment. (vii) Delivery location, Acceptance will be Government FOB destination: Fort Ri chardson, Alaska 99505. (viii) The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors  Commercial (JAN 2004), applies to this acquisition (ix), Offers will be evaluated using the provision at FAR 52.212-1, Evaluation -- Commercial Items (Jan 1999) with the following evaluation factors: technically acceptable, past performance, and price. Technical and past performance when combined are more important than price. The contract will be awarded to the offeror that provides the best value to the government .
