Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The request for quotation is W912R1-04-T-0922 and it incorporates provisions and clauses through FAC 2001-24. This procurement is being processed using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The NAICS code is 332321 and the size standard is 500 employees. This is a 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses. The requirement is for the purchase and install of the following:(CLIN 0001) Building 1228 room 209 - Remove existi ng exterior door, door closer, hinges and exit device. Dispose of properly. Save Best core for reinstallation at completion of work. Using the existing frame, provide and install door with 30 x 70 18 gauge hollow metal door with 1/4 wire glass 4 x 25 vision kit. Install 3 each 4-1/2 x 4-1/2 non-removable pin hinges color 26D. Install Von Duprin 99 serial exit device (99NL X 99ONL  R&V 425  SNB 06 RHR US26D). Install LCN 4041 door closer (4041 CUSH AL x TBRTC). Install a seven-pin cylinder to accept a best core. (CLIN 0002)Building 3030 North and South entrance - Remove existing exterior door, door closer, hinges and exit device. Dispose of properly. Save Best core for reinstallation at completion of work. Using the existing frame, provide and install door with 30 x 70 18 gauge hollow metal door with 1/4 wire glass 4 x 25 vision kit. Install 3 each 4-1/2 x 4-1/2 non-removable pin hinges color 26D. Install Simplex Lock with key bypass to accept a Best seven pin core (8148B-26D). (CLIN 0003)Building 1234 North Entrance - Remove existing glass panels exterior doors, and frame. Save Best Core for reinstallation at completion of work. Install new front similar to existing front. To include new frame, glass panels, exit device, door closer, threshold and lock cylinder to accept a seven pin Best core. (CLIN 0004)Building 3119 (Entrance doors North and South) (Remove and replace)- Remove existing glass door, side lite and frame. Dispose of properly. Save Best core for reinstallation at complet ion of work. Replace door frame with a 4/8 7/4 5-3/4 LHR metal frame. Door shall be metal as 3/0 X 7/0 18 gage specification. Provide and install Solid metal to a minimum of 12 gage in adjacent side light area. Door shall include a 5X20 Vision lite with on e way tempered glass. Provide and install an exit device meeting specification of a Simplex exit Device 99EO 425-SNB US 26D with electric strike 6120 FSE 24VDC US32D. Door shall be equipped with closer meeting specification of LCN 4041 CUSH AL X TBRTC. Se al the door with a replacement threshold and weather-stripping adding any additional sealing the frame of the structure providing weather protection. All exposed metal shall be shop primed in preparation for final paint coating. Contractor shall provide a ll labor and materials and complete the cleanup following the completion of work. The following provisions apply: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-3, Offerors Representations and Certifications, F AR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial, FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders: apply (a) and (b)(21), (22), (25), (27), and (29). FAR 52.219-27 is also incorporated. A site visit is scheduled for 9/24/04 at 10:00 a.m. RSVP to steven.slagle@dcandr.ang.af.mil prior to 9/24/04.
