Description

The Department of Homeland Security, US Immigration and Customs Enforcement, intends to award a sole source Open Market Purchase Order to PIERS, located in Washington DC for specific Trade Data and Technology Services in support of the Financial Investigations Division of. The statutory authority for this effort is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) or 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(2)(iii)(B) entitled "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements.? PIERS is the original software developer and is the only known vendor that is capable of providing and maintaining sea manifests for both United States Imports and Exports. Period of performance shall be from date of award through three months. There is no solicitation available and this synopsis is for informational purposes ONLY. See Note 22. Insert "three days" in lieu of "forty-five days."
