Description
Under authority of U.S.C. 253?(1), FAR 6.302-1, the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Bethesda, Maryland intends to procure from Leica Microsystems, 410 Eagleview Blvd., #107, Exton, PA 19341, a Leica TCS SP2 AOBS Confocal Microscope and accessories. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 334516, and the business size is 500 employees. This system shall include, but not be limited to, and meet or exceed the following performance characteristics, features, and pertain to the following components: (1) Filter system CFP/YFP Ds Red:S Fluorescnce filter block for CFP & YFP; (2) ICT Basic Outfit DM IRBE Consisting of Polarizer, ICT disc coded, Analyser; (3) IC Prism A; (4) IC Prism D; (5) IC Prism E; (6) IC Condenser Prism K3; (7) IC Condenser Prism K10; (8) TLD BF 1ch TCS SP2 DM IR Transmitted light detector for recording bright field images for DM IR microscopes; (9) Insert for Petri Dishes 35mm, fitting to TCS z-stage (diameter 36mm); and (10) Univ. Holder Frame for 3 plate. Concerns that respond to this synopsis shall furnish concise responses directed specifically to the requirements mentioned above and are invited to submit capability statements in an ORIGINAL PLUS ONE (1) no later than COB on September 28, 2004. Written responses shall include complete description of the equipment to be provided, containing sufficient technical information to permit agency analysis to establish a bona fide capability to meet the stated requirements as listed above.
