- 17. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Requisition (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals/bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ# 0173064, the provisions and clauses incorporated are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-24. This solicitation in under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) . The North American Industry Classification System Code is 315299 . This contract will be a Firm-Fixed price one-time buy, all or none. The Government intends to acquire competitive prices on the following items: 200 EA (Flight Suits) Fire Retardant Coverall Specification: Men?s, Women?s and Misses sizes. Manufactured to military Specification MIL-C83141A to include: 4.5 oz Nomex Aramid Fabric, Nomex Zippers, Kevlar Thread, , Pleated Action Back, Round Collar, Name Tag Velcro. Zipper Sleeve Pocket with Cover, Two Zipper Chest Pockets, One-Inch Velcro Waist Tabs, Two-Way Front Zipper, Velcro Sleeve Tabs, Zipper thigh Pockets, Knife Pockets, Zipper Leg Pockets, Zipper leg Closures, Color: Navy Blue. 600 Pairs Fire Retardant Glove Specification: Available in Various Sizes, Mil-G181188b Nomex Knit and Capeskin Leather , Color: Navy Blue , 200 EA. Nomex Hood Specification : Long Hood, Nomex Construction, Color: Black. FOB-Destination?Operational Support Facility, 15015 Farm Creek Drive, Suite 114, Woodbridge, VA 22191. All responsible sources that submit a quote within 2 days shall be considered by the agency. The following clauses are incorporated by reference and apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions To Offerors-Commercial Items (JAN 2004); FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation ? Commercial Items (JAN 1999); FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (OCT 2003); Each offeror shall include a completed copy of the FAR provisions at 52.212-3 Offeror Representation and Certifications (JUN 2003); with its offer. All quotations shall be submitted to the address listed on line number seven no later than 1:30 p.m. EST, 09/27/04. All quotations shall be clearly marked with RFQ# 0173064. All offerors are hereby notified that if your quotation is not received by the date/time and at the location specified in this notice announcement, that it will be considered late/nonresponsive.
