Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number FA4600-04-T-0213 is issued as a request for quotation. Quotes are due to the 55th Contracting Squadron no later than 12:00 PM local time on 28 September 2004, and shall be valid for at least 30 days to insure sufficient time for the distribution of funds. Quotes shall be submitted via e-mail in a Word, Excel, or PDF format to Mr. Lee Smales at: lee.smales@offutt.af.mil or fax at 402-294-0430. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-20. This requirement is being procured via Full and Open Competition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code and small business size standard are 333415, 750 employees. The government intends to issue a purchase order for 1ea CH Right Hand and 1 ea CH Left Hand MCQUAY or EQUAL Centrifugal Chiller, Model Number WSC063LAN29S/E2212-BE-2LA/C2212-CLYY-2LAYYY/R134-DAAAM, complete with 5 year compressor parts warranty, factory insulation on evaporator shell and non-connection heads, victaulic water connections, united mounted differential water pressure switches, united mounted oil cooler solenoid, full operating charge of R-134A, unit mounted star-delta starter w/non-fused disconnects, check-test start-up and owner instructions, first year parts warranty, capacity 199.8 Tons @38 degrees LWT .784 kw/ton. (The following information is included to aid in preparing quotes: 38F is the leaving water temp. Entering water temp or GPM to be used to determine performance values is EVAP 440 GPM 38* leaving 18ft pressure drop / condenser 606 GPM 85 * Enter water at 11ft pressure drop. Voltage of the machine is 480 /3PH/60. The Chillers for are for HVAC application. A 50/50 glycol mixture is used with this system. Specifications must be submitted if providing an OR EQUAL quote. CONTRACTOR MUST BE REGISTERED IN CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION (CCR) PRIOR TO AWARD. IF NOT ALREADY REGISTERED IN CCR, GO TO WWW.CCR.GOV TO REGISTER PRIOR TO SUBMITTING QUOTE.
