Description

FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to solicit, on a sole source commercial items basis, per FAR part 12, pursuant to FAR part 6.302-1, using simplified acquisition procedures per FAR part 13, reagents and equipment to detect Chlamydia Trachomatis and Neisseria Gonorrhoeae antigens by Transcription Mediated Amplification (TMA) Technology in urethral-genital and urine specimens, with Gen-Probe, Inc. of San Diego, CA in support of the National Naval Medical Center (NNMC), Bethesda, MD. The applicable quantities, descriptions and product numbers are: (24) APTIMA Auto Detection Reagent, #1048; (120) APTIMA Combo 2 Assay, #1032; (180) APTIMA Unisex Collection Kit, #1041; (48) APTIMA Urine Collection Kit, #3548. A firm-fixed price contract is anticipated, with a one-year base period of performance and four one-year option periods, beginning 01 October 2004. The applicable NAICS # is 325413.
