Description

Pre-Solicitation Notice – The Government intents to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for Greenhouse Replacement/Headhouse Repair at the United States Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service, located at the Beltsville Agricultural Research Center (BARC), Beltsville, Maryland. This action is a competitive 8(a) procurement in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 19.805. The total estimated cost of construction is between $3,900,000 and $4,500,000. Time for completion will be 320 days after Notice-To-Proceed with construction is issued. A pre-bid conference will be held on or about July 9, 2004. Sets of plans and specifications will be available for a non-refundable charge of $150.00, payable by check or money order to USDA, Agricultural Research Service, and submitted to the attention of Margaret Carter/Lucian Grembocki, USDA, ARS, FD, FCB, 5601 Sunnyside Avenue, Mail Stop 5124, Beltsville, Maryland 20705-5124. The solicitation is scheduled to be released on or about June 30, 2004, with bids due on or about August 6, 204, at the BARC facility with exact location and time identified in the solicitation.
