- This is a modification to change the closing date from September 23, 2004 @ 12 Noon PDT to September 24 2004 @ 12 Noon PDT. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are requested; however, a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number W911S8-04-T-0073 is applicable and is iss ued as a request for quotations. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-15. The requirement is small business set-aside with a NAICS Code of 518111, and size standard of $21.M. Any award resulting from this request for quot ations will be made using SF1449 to the successful, responsive and responsible quoter. Quotes will be evaluated on a lowest cost, technically acceptable basis and who has acceptable past performance. If quotes are provided for an equal item, specificati ons must be submitted. FAR provision 52.211-6, Name Brand or Equal, applies to this acquisition. FAR Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. An addendum to this provision is applicable, in which the te rm offeror (whenever it appears) shall be replaced with the term quoter. Quoters are required to submit completed copies of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with their quotes. FAR clause 52.212- 4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and does not include any addenda.
