Description

Because of changes below to Statement of Work, the receipt of proposals is extended to 27 September 2004 - NOON CST. ?Damaged Baseboards ? The Contractor is responsible for notifying the Contracting Officer of any damaged cove base prior to commencing his work. Upon identification of the existing damaged cove base, it is the government?s responsibility to inform the Contractor of the final disposition of the existing damaged cove base. In otherwords, the Contractor will be given guidance on replacement and/or repair of existing damaged cove base. The cost for replacement or repair damaged cove base will be the responsibility of the Government. However, as per paragraphs from the Statement of Work noted above, it is the Contractors responsibility to repair and/or replace damaged walls, cove base, or materials which are damaged as a direct result of the Contractors work. Furthermore, as an addition to the Base Bid, the Contractor shall submit an additive bid price to replace all existing vinyl cove base in the Hallways and Customer Service areas. There are approximately 750 linear feet of vinyl cove base in those areas noted above.?
