Description

Sole-Source Procurement to support the following function(s): The National Business Center (NBC) is a DOI designated administrative support facility that provides common services to DOI and bureaus' (and other Federal agencies, as negotiated through cross servicing agreements) supporting functions such as finance and accounting, procurement and contracts, personnel, property, and other general administrative areas. The NBC obtains, configures, implements, and manages its own large scale mainframe computer and supporting systems. Common Departmental administrative systems are supported by the NBC such as the Federal Financial System (FFS), the Federal Personnel/Payroll System (FPPS), and variety of Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) administrative systems including: the Program and Budget System (PABS), the BOR Labor Cost System, and the Financial Information Reporting System (FIRS). The NBC supports other agencies and bureaus in processing agency/bureau-specific administrative and mission-oriented systems.
