Description

Notice of Intent. The Langley AFB Contracting Office intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Dolbey Systems Inc. for a preventative maintenance agreement to maintain the Langley AFB Medical Center digital voice processing system. The period of performance will be for one year (1 Oct 2004-30 Sep 2005), with four, one-year option periods. The required on-site maintenance and support services will include, but not be limited to, on-site system managing operations, preventative, remedial and routine maintenance, inspections, on going monitoring, hardware/software removal/installation services, add, move and change services, system programming, technical design, technical consultative services, and user training services. The contractor shall keep the equipment operating at peak efficiency in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications, practices and benchmarks. Vendors capable of satisfying the above maintenance requirements are invited to submit information on their capabilities, customer references, and GSA Federal Supply Schedule, or commercial prices, for Firm-Fixed Price. Any firm may give written notification of capabilities to the Langley AFB Contracting Office by 12:00 am on 29 Sept 04. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the capability of the firm to provide the specific service listed above. When responding to this announcement, respondents should refer to Digital Voice Processing PMA. Multiple awards are not being sought. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Information can be sent to the 1st Contracting office to: Ken Morris, 1 CONS/LGBC 74 Nealy Ave, Langley AFB, VA 23665-2088. No telephone requests will be accepted. Responses received will be evaluated, however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source negotiation.
