Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Therefore, this synopsis shall serve as a request for quote (RFQ) numbered F41621-05-T-0925. The Air Intelligence Agency (AIA) wishes to acquire the items indicated herein on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 6.302, 10 USC 2304 (c) (1). Justification: Supplies or services required are available only from one responsible source, MAK Technologies, 20 Fawcett St, Cambridge MA 02138. The Software Maintenance is scheduled to begin 1 Oct 04 and end on 30 Sep 05. Pricing is required for the following CLINS: 0001, VR-Link Dev. Maintenance, P/N: VRL-TK-MN, Qty: 5 EA; 0002, Stealth Viewer Maintenance, P/N: VRL-ST-MN, Qty: 6 EA; 0003, Data Logger Maintenance, P/N: VRL-DL-MN, Qty: 2 EA; 0004, Packet Server Maintenance, P/N: PKT-SVR-MN, Qty: 8 EA; 0005, VR-Link RT Maintenance, P/N: VRL-RT-MN, Qty: 32 EA. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however, all proposals received prior to the date of closure will be considered by the Government. This requirement is NOT set-aside for small business. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 423430, $21M. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2001-24, Effective 19 Jul 2004. The following provisions/clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items; and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items applies. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: technical capability to meet the Government?s requirement, price, and delivery date.
