Description

The Air Intelligence Agency (AIA) wishes to acquire MATLAB Maintenance. Offerors are required to provide the unit and extended prices for MATLAB maintenance for FY05 (1 Oct 04 thru 30 Sep 05) per the RFQ uploaded with this synopsis. Justification for noncompetitive action: 10 USC 2304 (c) (1) Intended Source(s): The MathWorks, Inc., 3 Apple Hill Drive, Natick, MA 01760-2098. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered. The National American Industrial Classification (NAIC) for this acquisition is 511210, $21,000,000. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2001-24, Effective 19 Jul 2004. The following provisions/clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items; and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items applies. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: technical capability to meet the Government?s requirement, price, and delivery date. Offerors are to include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with their offer. FAR 252.204-7004, REQUIRED CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION (MAR 98) APPLIES. AWARDS CANNOT BE MADE TO CONTRACTORS WHO ARE NOT REGISTERED IN THE CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION AT TIME OF AWARD.
