- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared under the authority of FAR 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items and in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The combined synopsis/solicitation number is W91CRB-04-T-0226. Requirement is for PASGT Helmet Replacement Accessories. NOTE: PROPOSED ITEMS MUST BE COMPATIBLE WITH THE PASGT HELMET. NOTE: offerors MUST certify that the items being propo sed conform to the Berry Amendment requirements at DFARS 252.225-7012, Preference for Certain Domestic Commodities. Proposed items must have been grown, reprocessed, reused, or produced in the United States, its possessions, or Puerto Rico. If offerors f ail to certify that their proposed product meets these requirements, they will not be considered for award. CLIN 0001, Helmet Chinstrap, PASGT, 2PT, Desert Tan, 7000 EA. CLIN 0002, Helmet Chinstrap, PASGT, 3PT, Desert Tan, 1000 EA. CLIN 0003, PASGT Helm et Suspension, Desert Tan. Sizes are as follows: CLIN 0003AA, Small, 100EA; CLIN 0003AB, Medium, 200EA; CLIN 0003AC, Large, 100EA. CLIN 0004, Leather Headband, 1.5 inch, 7000 EA. Drawings and specifications are NOT available for this requirement. This is a Foreign Military Sales Requirement, FMS Case S4-B-ASI; purchase request BS40544259Y001. Delivery terms are F.O.B. Destination. Ship to: New Cumberland, PA 17070. Exact delivery instructions will be provided with the order. Offerors shall propose u nit prices that include shipping. Offerors must provide a delivery schedule with their proposal. Partial shipments are acceptable, however, shipments shall be as consolidated as possible. Desired delivery is within 45 days, however, offerors are encoura ged to provide alternate delivery schedules if the 45 day delivery cannot be met. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The provision at 52.212-2 applies to this acquisition. Offers will be evaluate d based on price and delivery schedule. While delivery is more important than price, award will be made to the offeror that provides the best delivery schedule for the best price. A completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items, must be provided with offers.
