Description

PRESOLICITATION NOTICE. ESTIMATED ISSUE DATE OF SOLICITATION IS 15 OCT 2004. MODIFICATION IS REGARDING SOURCE CONTROL DRAWING, WITH TWO APPROVED SOURCES: SPS TECHNOLOGIES, CAGE 56878; AND LAKE ERIE SCREW CORP, CAGE 88911. Machine Bolt: NSN 5306-01-176-8735; P/N 12323920. End item M1 Tank Family. Fastener length 2.750 inches nominal; grip length 0.500 inches nominal; head height 0.607 inches nominal; thread diameter 1.000 inches nominal; thread length 2.250 inches nominal; thread class 1-8 UNRC-2A. Material: Alloy steel to conform to the chemical and mechanical requirements of federal specification FF-S-85, Grade 8. Requirements are 2200 each. FOB DESTINATION. Source Control drawing to SPS Technologies, Cage 56878. Qua lification procedures available. Solicitation unrestricted. Proposed contract will be a firm-fixed price that will include 100% Options for a period of 3 years. All or part of this action is an unfunded FY04 requirement. Estimated issue date is 15 Octo ber 2004. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore hard copies will not be provided.
