- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is set-aside for small business only. The NAICS Code for this synopsis/solicitation is 334310, Size Standard is 750 Employees. Solicitation/Purchase Request number FSFSC142600500 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-24, Effective 19 Jul 2004. The Government intends to award 1 Contract Line Item Numbers (CLIN) as follows: (CLIN 0001) Audio-visual system upgrade equipment or equivalent and installation. If providing an equivalent item, it must meet the following performance specifications identified below in the Statement of Work. Audio-Visual System Statement of Work Requirement is to provide equipment and installation of audio-visual system upgrades to the Family Support Center Classroom at Hanscom AFB, MA. 1. Replace capability of current hardware for audio upgrade to ceiling speakers throughout the classroom and appropriate amplifier. a. Six (6) Each - JBL Ceiling Mounted Loudspeakers, Control 24ct b. One (1) Each - 60 watt Amplifier/Mixer CMA 60 made by precedence 2. Replace current audiovisual control system to manage the display of different input on each screen. Ensure capability to display a present input and an additional laptop input. a. Furman Power Conditioner, PS8R b. Crestron Control System, CP2 c. Crestron Power Supply, PW2420RU d. Crestron Touch Panel, TPC-2000 e. Crestron Volume Control, C2N-VEQ4 f. Crestron Serial Cable, CNSP122 g. Extron Matrix Switcher 88HVA, 603206 h. Extron Extender WM 6039802 i. Extron Interface Cable, 2649001 3. Table/storage/rack system to hold the audio-visual equipment, personal computer, VCR, and power center. Table/storage/rack system must have enough surface space for monitor, overhead projector, keyboard and mouse. a. Mid-Atlantic Drawer, D2 b. Mid-Atlantic Shelf, U2 c. Mid Atlantic Side Bay Rack, D12DC 4. Audio-visual upgrade requires shipping of all equipment and installation of all hardware, cabling, hardware programming and interoperability of all prior systems and upgraded equipment. The above equipment listings are examples and may be substituted with equipment with the same capability. Present configuration and layout for the 26'x 40' classroom is attached. QUANTITY: 1 UNIT OF MEASURE: EA DESIRED DELIVERY DATE: 29 Oct 04 FOB: DESTINATION. Inspection and acceptance: DESTINATION. Prices must be provided for entire system in order to receive an award. Funds are not presently available. This procurement will be funded IAW FAR 52.232-18, Availability of Funds (APR 1984).
