- COMPETITION ANNOUNCEMENT. This notice constitutes the formal announcement and commencement of the A-76 competition for Intelligence Support [FAIR Act code M301, Intelligence Research Specialist and Intelligence Operations Specialist]; in accordance with attachment B, paragraph B.1 (page B-3) of the revised OMB Circular A-76, dated 29 May 2003. DHS/ICE intends to compete approximately 84 FTE positions. This competition will be used to determine the best value between the commercial and/or government offerings. A solicitation is expected to be issued on or before March 1, 2005, so that the determination can be finalized by fiscal year-end. The anticipated contract type is an Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), firm fixed price with task orders issued on an ?as required basis.? Do not call DHS/ICE prior to solicitation release. Draft documents may be posted on FedBizOpps for comment. Interested parties are urged to provide questions, comments, and recommendations on those postings. All questions, comments, recommendations, and answers will be posted accordingly. This is NOT a request for proposal and in no way obligates the Government. This announcement of competition is to provide timely notification to contractors.
