- Description
- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) at the FAA Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, has a requirement for moving services. The contractor shall perform all of the services required to remove office furniture, equipment, excess material, and related supplies from it???s present location, transport the property to the designated areas within the new location and place them at the new location. The contractor shall furnish laborers, trucks, furniture moving equipment (i.e., four wheelers, carts, etc.). This SIR is to request information that will enable the FAA to make a screening decision to determine qualified firms that have the ability to perform these services. The FAA reserves the right to add incumbent contractors and/or other sources which meet the criteria and have performed satisfactorily on previous procurements. Accordingly, it has been determined that only firms meeting the following minimum requirements will be solicited: Offers are solicited only from small business concerns, within the Oklahoma City metropolitan and its suburban areas. (1) To be considered the contractor must be classified as a small business under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 484210 - $21.5/million. (3) Complete/submit the Business Declaration form attached with your response. Requirement is for a base year and includes option provisions to renew for four additional 1-year periods, to be exercised at the sole discretion of the FAA. The proposed contract will incorporate AMS Clause 3.2.4-35, Option to Extend the Term of the Contract, and 3.2.4-34, Option To Extend Services. The resultant contract will be a labor hour/indefinite delivery (Requirements) type contract, and includes the following skill categories: (a) Material Handling Laborer, (b) Truckdriver, Tractor-Trailer, (c) Truckdriver, Light Truck, (d) Truckdriver, Medium Truck, (e) Truckdriver, Heavy Truck, and (f) Forklift Operator. The date and time for receipt of responses is 3 p.m. local time, Wednesday, October 6, 2004, (facsimile responses are permitted). If all requested information is not furnished, the contractor???s response may be determined unacceptable; therefore, not considered as one of the qualified companies.
