Description

The work covered by this project consists of the contractor furnishing all layout, survey, plant, labor, supervision, quality control, materials, equipment, machines, tools, appliances, services, supplies, and incidentals and of performing all operations in connection with the protective coating maintenance and pavement markings requirement at Goodfellow AFB, Texas and the Goodfellow AFB Recreation Camp located at Lake Nasworthy, complete and in strict accordance with the plans and specifications. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 238320 and the size standard is $12.0 million. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the agency. This acquisition is UNRESTRICTED, open to both large and small businesses and is under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program (PL 100-656). The magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The period of performance is a basic period and two (2) one year options with a guaranteed minimum of $5,000 for the life of the contract. The anticipated date for a site visit is 03 Nov 04. The anticipated proposal due date is 18 Nov 04 with award date of 15 Dec 04. Exact dates will be shown in the Request for Proposal (RFP) when posted on or about 18 Oct 04. All request for clarification of specifications must be faxed to (325) 654-5149. In accordance with FAR 52.236-27, offerors are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed. Access to the site will be limited to the organized site visit only. The solicitation will be available via the U.S. General Services Administration electronic posting system.
