Description

The Norfolk District is offering for sale the following items: (To be sold by Modified Scale Method) 1 - AREA 04_1&2(7C) - 72 ACRES - Hardwood Pulp/Fuelwood; 2 - AREA 04_3(9A) - 32 ACRES - Hardwood Pulp/Fuelwood; 3 - AREA Airfield - 303 ACRES - Har dwood Pulp/Fuelwood; 4 - AREA 6A - 72 ACRES - Softwood Pulp/Fuelwood; 5 - AREA 7B - 23 ACRES - Softwood Pulp/Fuelwood. The total number of item(s) for this sale is five (5). The timber to be sold may be inspected by prospective purchasers through October 26, 2004, by appointment only. Arrangements for inspections should be made by contacting Mr. Paul Zang, telephone (315) 778-6248. Sealed bids will be accepted until 2:00 p.m., October 28, 2004, by the Acquisition, Management and Disposal Section, Real E state Branch, Norfolk District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, 803 Front Street, Norfolk, Virginia 23510-1096, and then and there publicly opened and announced. Forms for use in submitting bids may be obtained from Mr. Paul Zang at Fort Drum or from the Ac quisition, Management and Disposal Section, address shown above. Terms and conditions of sale, procedure for submitting bids, and a description of the timber are contained in the bid forms. This sale will be sold by Modified Scale as noted.
