Description

NOTE: The following post only serves to redirect your attention to the actual pre-solicitation notice posted on the Army's IBOP website at https://abop.monmouth.army.mil/ Check under 'Army Solicitations', 'CECOM-2004', 'W15P7T-04-R-G215'. This posting is only a pre-solicitation notice for industry comment. Industry is requested to review the Statement of Work (SOW). Proposal Submission Directions, Evaluation Criteria and Basis for Award will be posted in the future for industry comment. Ind ustry is encouraged to review, comment and surface any issues or concerns regarding the draft document(s). A Draft Solicitation Document (RFP) is not available and this notice is NOT a solicitation for proposals. Comments regarding the Draft SOW should be submitted to the contract specialist by 15 October 2004. Questions or comments will be considered in the formation of the Solicitation Document. The purpose of this proposed effort is to provide for the continuation of the required field support of the Force XXI Battle Command Brigade and Below (FBCB2) / Blue Force Tracking (BFT) Program. The tasks to be performed will provide Army, Marine, Joint, and Coalition global warfighter operational support for FBCB2/BFT systems. The services to be provided include: Installation, New Equipment Training (NET), Field Service Representative (FSRs), Turn-In-Point Maintenance (TIP), Site Operations, Program Manag ement and other related program tasks The proposed effort includes acquiring these services for worldwide support consolidated onto one contract, as a four (4) year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract during CY05-08. The Army will use Full and Open Competition to award a be st value Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Cost Reimbursement, and Time and Materials (T&M) contract for the continued field support of the program. Draft Proposal Submission Instructions, Evaluation Criteria and Basis for Award will be posted for Industry comment a t a later date.
