- In accordance with the procedures specified in the revised OMB Circular A-76 (Attachment B, B.1), dated May 29,2003, this notification represents the formal public announcement and official start date of a streamlined competition on the mechanical maintenance services commercial activity function performed in the General Services Administration (GSA), Public Building Service (PBS), Mid-Atlantic Region, Pittsburgh Field Office. PBS provides for the Federal Government?s real property needs by leasing, building and maintaining Federal office space. Government personnel consisting of 22 commercial activity FTEs represent the incumbent service provider located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The estimated work years will consist of a base year and four option years. The designated Competitive Sourcing Official is Jan Ziegler, Assistant Regional Administrator for the PBS. Her point of contact is Jeannine Atwell. The responsible Contracting Officer is Mark Lewandowski, and the Agency Tender Official is Celeste Martins. The projected end date of this competition is February 15, 2005.
