- CONTACT Bruce Ballance, Electronics Engineer 732 532-8620. The Communication system required by Oman is a static link comprised of 2 sections or legs - one of a troposheric scatter link and one a microwave link connected together. The equipment to be provided shall have the features functions and capabilities of the latest technologies. The system must be capable of future enhancements with minimum modifications. The troposcatter equipment should have a minimum capacity of 4xE1 (2Mbs) and a frequency in the range of 4400 to 5000 MHz. This market survey is in support of a potential Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Case for the Government of Oman. In order to execute this task properly, selected prospective bidders chosen after the initial stage will have t o conduct a detailed survey, in Oman, in order to determine all of the requirements of the project.
