Description
Technical Questions: As a result of questions asked from an offeror, this requirement is amended to provide the following clarifications: 1)What is the level of epidemiologic expertise and experience needed? At the minimum the listed positions should have the following qualifications: The Project Coordinator – MS with experience in oversight of research projects; Senior Epidemiologist – PhD, DrPH or MD/MPH with 15 years of experience in the design and conduct of epidemiologic studies, especially those of military relevance, and extensive experience with military data systems; Senior Analyst – Masters with 6 years of experience of PhD with 2 or more years of experience; Research Associate – Masters or Bachelors with 2 years of experience; and Data Abstractor – Certified medical record abstractor, preferably experienced in military data. 2) Will study design, analysis and interpretation be needed? Or is it more of a data collection activity under USUHS direction? Not much needed in the way of study design--this is a descriptive study. Yes, to directed data collection activities, analysis, and interpretation. Project entails a complex process of identifying, characterizing, evaluating, selecting, and integrating data from multiple DoD sources (different formats); constructing an analyzable data set; performing appropriate analyses; and interpreting the results.
