Description

Coeur dAlene River Ranger District, Bonner and Shoshone Counties, Idaho. Relocation of nine different segments of the Independence Creek Trail #22 to be included in a trail construction contract. The current location of Trail # 22 takes the user through 22 fords of Independence Creek, several mudholes, and a large beaver pond. This project will eliminate 15 of the 22 fords, the beaver pond, and many of the mud holes by relocating the trail onto the north side of Independence Creek. Approximately 2.1 miles of existing trail will be relocated and replaced with 1.9 miles of new trail. The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, supplies and incidentals to perform all work. Price range estimated between $25,000 and $100,000. Estimate start work date weather dependent with contract time of 425 calendar day.
