- This solicitation will be available on the internet at http://dibbs.dla.mil/rfp not sooner than 15 days after this notice is published in the CBD. Requests for hard copies of this solicitation will not be accepted. The contract specialist will not be able to provide copies of the solicitation. This solicitation is for the procurement of part-numbered items manufactured by (66544) Continental Microwave & Tool Co. and (96214) Raytheon Co. It will close on or about 06 Dec 2004. This solicitation is for an IDC with the following FSC's to be covered: 5985. Federal, military and commercial specifications cannot be provided by DSCC. Specifications, plans, or drawings are not available. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period two times at the discretion of the Government. The total extension shall not exceed 2 years. This is an unrestricted acquisition. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete unrestricted technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources. The only approved sources appear to be Continental Microwave & Tool Co. and Raytheon Co. While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award may be as described in the solicitation. Note 26 applies. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation as applicable, which if timely received will be considered by the agency.
