Description
THIS IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. DO NOT REGISTER FOR PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AT THIS TIME. THERE IS A “DRAFT” SOLICITATION AVAILABLE FOR REVIEW ON THIS WEBSITE (see instructions below). The final plans and specifications will carry a different identification number and registration will be required at that time. The Government may consider comments and inquiries while preparing the final plans and specs; however, the Government is not seeking comments and may not provide responses to inquiries. A solicitation will be issued in the near future and a date and time will be established at that time for acceptance of bids. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Project includes construction of Basins 1, 2, & 3 with nine irrigation cells to provide stormwate r protection for the adjacent agricultural fields or to store and provide water when needed; five water resource areas to intercept stormwater discharges from the irrigation cells and non-agricultural fields; three siphons to drain water to south of West F eeder Canal, 22 pump stations with capacities ranging from 7 cfs to 256 cfs; a series of culverts in and along the new and existing canals, and other works necessary to mitigate impact of stormwater on existing agricultural operations. Levees associated w ith Water Resource Area cells typically have height of approximately 3.0 feet and the Irrigation Cell levees have heights of 7 feet. Magnitude of construction is between $10,000,000.00 and $25,000,000.00.
