Description

Requirements type contract for blood typing, antibody screen and syphillis screen blood test reagents and equipment, Immucor or equal, for delivery to the Camp Memorial Blood Center at Fort Knox, Kentucky, duriing the period 1 November 2004 through 3 1 October 2005 with four one-year option periods. Test kits shall be licensed by the FDA for use in blood donor center/processing operations. The contractor shall provide all consumable supplies, test reagents, and quality control material, laboratory equi pment, equipment maintenance, technical assistance and training necessary to perform automated testing of the following tests: Blood typing (ABO/Rh), Antibody Screen (Pooled) and Syphillis Screen. Estimated yearly quantities are as follows: Capture R (260 kits), Anti-A (40 packages), Anti-B (40 packages), Anti-D4 (60 packages), A1 & B Reference Cells (312 packages), Capture S (286 kits), Anti-D5 (40 packages), 22% Albumin (1 package), Anti-1G Green (14 packages), Check Cells (65 packages), RQC Kit (26 packa ges), Weak D Cells (26 bottles), Capture R Indicator Cells (130 bottles), Capture S Indicator Cells (130 bottles), Stir Bars (5 packages), Phix Buffer (1 package), HDS Strips (196 kits), Rental to include maintenance, of equipment to process the listed tes ts. All sources may submit an offer which will be considered. Projected solicitation issue date is on or around 18 October 2004 with a response date of 28 October 2004. The solicitation will be posted on the Fort Knox website http://www.knox.army.mil/garri son/doc/contracting_opportunities.htm . No hard copies will be mailed and no bidders list will be compiled.
