Description

This 100% Small Business Set-aside solicitation is for a 5 year IDIQ Requirements contract for the following spare parts to the M9 Pistol: NOUN: Lever, Lock Release: NSN: 5340-01-204-4361, P/N: 9346471; NOUN: Guide, Firing, Pin, NSN: 1005-01-204-434 1; PN: 9346429; and NOUN: Trigger, NSN: 1005-01-204-4377, PN: 9346458. Guaranteed quantities: 4,000 each Lock, Lever Release; 2,250 each Guide, Firing, Pin; 1,750 each Trigger. Lever, Lock Release is manufactured from steel bar, alloy 4320 or 43L20, grai n size 5 to 8 per ASTM A29. Size is approximately 4.47mm thick x 13.1mm x 15.95mm long. Lever, Lock Release is Rockwell Hardened to C 40-45 and case hardened to a depth of .05 to .015. Guide, Firing, Pin is manufactured from 4320 or 43L20, grain size 5-8 alloy steel per ASTM 29. Size is approximately 8.18mm x 9.48mm x 14.8mm. Trigger is manufactured from cold drawn steel bar alloy 4320 or 43L20 per ASTM A29, grain size 5-8. Size is approximately 9.1mm thick x 2.8mm x 39.9mm. Estimated issue date is 08 November 2004. The solicitation will incorporate a Technical Data Package (TDP) for these items which will be viewed with the solicitation via the internet. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore , hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be iss ued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above int ernet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
