- Description
- The General Services Administration is requesting proposals from renewable electric generation suppliers to provide renewable energy certificates (RECs) to GSA?s Mid-Atlantic Region. The successful offeror will supply RECs for a contract term beginning on the date of award and ending on September 30, 2005. An additional extension period of up to six (6) months is available. The solicitation requests pricing for 75,000 MWhs per year of RECs. The procurement method will be a competitive negotiated Request for Proposal (RFP) conducted in accordance with Part 12 (Commercial Item) of the FAR. This announcement constitutes the presolicitation notice and the synopsis. The Government intends to award a contract to the offeror that offers the lowest price per MWh for RECs and meets the solicitation's minimum technical requirements. Supplier technical responses to the solicitation are due no later than 2:00 p.m. on November 10, 2004 at the GSA Bid Room (see solicitation for address). Pricing will be submitted in accordance with the solicitation on November 16, 2004 no later than 11 a.m. This procurement is being conducted on an unrestricted basis.
