- FISC Norfolk, Detachment Philadelphia intends to acquire through unrestricted, full and open competition, Telemedicine Systems Engineering and Technical Support Services in support of the Naval Medical Information Management Center (NMIMC), the Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) and Fleet and Fleet Marine Force customers. A time and materials type contract is anticipated to cover one base year and four (4) option years. Approximately 10,940 man-hours per year will be acquired with labor types expected to include (but not necessarily be limited to) Senior Systems Engineers, Systems Engineers, Functional Analysts for Help-Desk Support, and Administrative Support. Actual labor will be specified in the solicitation. Performance is expected to take place at NMIMC Bethesda, MD, NCM Portsmouth, VA, and NMC San Diego, CA. Secondary places of work may be aboard naval vessels Military Treatment Facilities, and related military or support technical laboratories. As part! of this effort, it is anticipated that a Help Desk will be manned on the East Coast (Maryland) and one on the West Coast (San Diego) but actual requirements will be specified in the solicitation. The contract will be awarded on a best value basis with technical more important than price. All interested sources may submit proposals for the consideration of the Government. NAICS CODE 541519
