Description

TACOM-Rock Island Arsenal will be soliciting for various quantities and sizes of steel bars, sheets and plates in support of the M939 5 Ton Truck Program. Solicitation will be available electronically approximately 28 October 2004 at https://acquisi tion.army.mil Delivery is crucial for these requirements and will be weighed more heavily than price during evaluations. 20% of requirements will be needed by 12 November 2004, 40% by 26 November 2004, and a final 40% by 10 December 2004, however early sh ipments will be accepted and are encouraged. Exact quantities will be available on the solicitation. Multiple awards may be made as a result of this solicitation, and no substitutions to requested material will be accepted. The solicitation will also in clude a 100% option clause for quantities to be possibly exercised within 90 days of the original order. All offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) at www.ccr.gov in order to be considered for award.
