- Description
- Soouthwestern Power Administration will require a biological assessment for State and Federally listed threatened or endangered species, raptors and migratory birds. The purpose of this review is to provide Southwestern with specific information to determine if its proposed action will affect listed species or critical habitat and to ensure compliance with requirements listed within NEPA and EO 13186 as it pertains to the proposed aerial saw side clearing application for Southwestern's transmission line right of ways. The proposed aerial saw side clearing project will include approximately 178.57 miles of transmission lines located in the following counties in Oklahoma: Bryan, Coal, Haskell, Hughes, Johnston, McIntosh, Muskogee, Okmulgee, Okfuskee and Pontotoc. The average width of Southwestern's transmission line right-of-way is approximately 100 feet.
