- Description
- (I) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (II) This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Submit written quotes on RFQ reference number FA2517-05-T-0002. (III) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-25. (IV) This solicitation is being issued as full and open competition; the associated NAICS code is 721110. (V) This combined synopsis/solicitation is for the following commercial item: CLIN 0001 – Banquet Hall Services for the Peterson AFB Non-Commissioned Officer Academy Graduations for Fiscal Year 2005. Banquet Hall must be located within the Colorado Springs local vicinity. See Paragraph VI for a description of room requirements. (VI) Description of requirements are as follows: Facility must be able to accommodate between 600 to 680 guests. Require 2 each hospitality suites. Also require reception area with cash bar. Rooms must be setup no later than 8:00 A.M. on the day of graduations. Banquest Hall shall have a 16’ x 24’ stage. Tables will be round with tableclothes and centerpiece. Facility must be available for the following dates: 16 Dec 2004, 10 Feb 2005, 31 Mar 2005, 19 May 2005, 8 Jul 2005, and 8 Sep 2005. Audio Visual Equipment: 1 each CD Player, PAS System with 8 speakers, 12 Channel Mixer, 4 each Display Easels, 2 each Podium Microphone, 1 each DVD Player, Wireless Microphone, 40’ Pipe & Drape behind stage, 2 each LCD projectors, 2 each 9’ x 12’ Screens with Dress Kits, and 1 each Technician to operate equipment. Meal Requirements: minimum of 2 meal choices (not to exceed $16.00 per person to include salad, desert, and beverage). After-graduation Entertainment: provide DJ/Band for approximately 3 hours. Music should consist of Country, Top 40, and Dance. (VII) Period of Performance is 16 Dec 2004 through 8 Sep 2005. Performance will take place in the Colorado Springs, CO local vicinity. (VIII) FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors – Commercial Items (Jan 2004), applies to this acquisition. In addition to written quotes, offerors are instructed to provide a capability statement describing qualifications to perform requirements listed at paragraphs V and VI. (IX) FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items (Jan 1999), applies to this acquisition. Paragraph A of this clause is completed as follows: 1) Price shall be used to evaluate quotes. (X) The offeror must include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items (May 2004). A copy of this provision is located at http://farsite.hill.af.mil/ (XI) The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items (Oct 2003), applies to this acquisition. (XII) FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items (Jun 2004). Additional FAR 52.212-5 clauses cited in the clause applicable to this acquisition are (b) (5)(i) (14) (15) (16) (17) (18) (25) and (30), (c) (1) and (2). (XIII) The following clauses are also applicable to this acquisition: 52.204-7, Central Contractor Registration; 52.252-2, Clauses Incorporated by Reference; 252.204-7004 Alt A, Required Central Contractor Registration; 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items; including 252.225-7001, Buy American Act and Balance of Payments Program, and 252.232-7003, Electronic Submission of Payment Requests. (XIV) The Government intends to award a single Firm Fixed Priced contract resulting from this solicitation. (XV) Quotes are required to be received no later than 1:00 pm Mountain Time, 3 Nov 2004.
