Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. TACOM-Rock Island Arsenal will be soliciting for various quanti ties and sizes or Aluminum sheet, plate, and bar in support of the M939 5 Ton Truck Program in support of Iraqi Freedom. Solicitation W52H09-05-T-5042 will be available electronically approximately 28 October 2004 at https://acquisition.army.mil. Deliver y is crucial for these requirements and will be weighed more heavily than price during the evaluations. 20% of the requirements will be needed on site by 12 November 2004, 40% by 29 November 2004, and the final 40% by 10 December 2004, however, early ship ments will be accepted and are encouraged. Exact quantities will be available on the solicitation. Multiple awards may be made as a result of this solicitation, and no substitutions to the requested material will be accepted. The solicitation will also include a 100% option for the quantities to be possibly exercised within 90 days of the original order. All offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) at www.ccr.gov in order to be considered for award.
