Description

This amendment is issued to revise information in the synopsis (04-Sub0258) posted by Wiesbaden Contracting Center on Aug 26, 2004, for Request for Proposal W912CM-04-R-0025, Service Support of the Defense Information System Network Europe (DISN-E). Synopsis is changed to read: Due to proprietary data rights, the U.S. Army Contracting Center  Wiesbaden, Germany, intends to negotiate a sole source requirement with Siemens Corporation for the life cycle support of the Defense Information System Networ k Europe (System Digital Telephone Switch). This notice is not a request for competitive offers; however, firms who believe that they can meet the requirements may submit written notification within ten (10) days from the date of publication of this chang e to the synopsis. Notification must include proof that the offeror is authorized and technically approved by Siemens for third-party access to TAC2 and TAC3 levels of maintenance, to include installation of SW-patches, patch sets, traces, etc, which requ ire access to Siemens analysis software. If no responses are received by the deadline for submission, the Government will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Siemens. Responses are due no later than 11 Nov 2004, 16:00 hours (CET).
