Description

PROJECT TITLE & Location: Global Hawk System (GHS)  Upgrade, Dock # 2, USAF, Beale AFB, CA. JOB DESCRIPTION: The fully designed project is to renovate Dock 2 to include high-expansion foam fire suppression system, electrical distribution and ligh ting systems, HVAC system, seismic upgrade of the structural framing system, remove and replace roof and siding, asbestos/lead abatement, exterior electrical upgrade, landscaping, site improvements, tool crib, and administration office. NAICS Code: This procurement will be conducted under NAICS Code: 236210. The size standard for this NAICS code is 28.5 Million. Estimated cost is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. The acquisition method is Request for Proposal (RFP) negotiated procurement. A technical and price proposal will be required. Evaluation by the Government will result in selection of a firm that represents the best value to the Government. Any future amendments to the solicitation will also be available for down load from this web site. If you experience problems registering for the plan holders list or have problems downloading plans and specifications or amendments please contact Tim Boyd at 916 -557-5226. It is important that you first go to this web site and under Contract Division home page, click on the advertised solicitation you are interested in. Go to Plan Holder Registration. This will require you to establish a user name and pass word. Keep the user name and pass word and share it with anyone else in your organization that is responsible for registering your firm on plan holders lists. With our new system you only have to do the full registration one time. If you have your user name and password you can always go back into the system and register for other jobs without having to go through the entire registration process. However you can only do this by using your initial user name and password. In order t o receive notification on any amendments to the solicitation you are required to register for the plan holder list. Please complete all requested information. The solicitation will be available for download approximately 30 November 2004. To d own load the solicitation go to the Sacramento District Contracting Division Internet Home Page at http://ebs.spk.usace.army.mil/ from there click on Sacramento District, then it will take you to a list of advertised solicitations and then from there c lick on the desired solicitation number, on the bottom of this page there will be a bar that says download/view solicitation files. Select plans or specs from the drop down box and press the go button. This will take you to the next page, then from there click on file name and download. To download amendments: Access the list of advertised solicitations. Select the desired solicitation and then click on the amendment number. At the next screen, click on the file name and download it. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the agency. Please note that all contractors and potential contractors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database.
