Description

This project was previously synopsized under soliciation number HAR042037. The new soliciation number is HAR052006. This project is for silvicultural fuels management services primarily in Southeastern Oregon. The work will consist of manual methods of accomplishing multiple treatments on a wide variety of stand conditions varying in both complexity and quantities. Treatments will include spacing of conifers and hardwoods, cutting hardwoods and brush, pruning conifers and hardwoods, and treating created and natural slash. This is a five-year indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity project. In accordance with Department of the Interior and Related Agencies Appropriation Act, 2001, Public Law 106-291, Contracting Officers from Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Indian Affairs, Fish and Wildlife Service, National Park Service and USDA, Forest Service are authorized to issue task orders against this contract. The total value of the contract will not exceed $20,000,000. Most project sites will be located in Glendale Resource Area, Douglas County, Medford District, Oregon. Bonds are required. This solicitation will be posted electronically. Paper copies are no longer available. Estimated issue date is November 8, 2004. This solicitation is set aside for small business concerns.
