Description

The contractor shall furnish docking facilities, all plant labor, materials and equipment to perform following work on the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Dredge Currituck. Hauling out vessel on drydock, removing and replacing zincs and zinc studs, ins talling bolts, water blasting and painting portions of the vessel, repairing cracks in weld, cleaning fuel tank, replacing port and stbd trunnions, replacing fire pump suctions and discharge piping, clean out msd tank, etc. This solicitation will be issue d in a Construction Format and will be exempt from the requirements of the Davis-Bacon Act, pursuant to EP 1180-1-1 paragraph 3-11, Shipbuilding, Alteration, and Repair. This project is between $250,000 and $500,000. The Plans and Specifications will be issued on or about 18 Nov 2004 on a CD -ROM DISK; provided free of charge and should not be returned. The Plans and Specifications will not provided in a hard copy medium. Electronic medium for submittal of proposals will not be allowed.
